Our Mission

The mission of Twice As Smart is to provide children at-risk with an enriching after-school learning environment that is both trauma-informed and strength-based, to launch them on a path to continuing education and purposeful lives. 

 

Twice As Smart’s mission is accomplished through the following  strategies:

1.  Providing after school academic instruction that develops confidence in reading, writing, and mathematics.

2. Modeling socialization and listening skills.

3. Reinforcing the importance of each child developing their own unique “voice.”

4. Exposing children to resources, role models, and opportunities that expand their world of possibilities.
